Judy Green, Managing Partner
Over her distinguished 30-year career, Judy Green has worked closely with many of the largest real estate companies in the nation. Whether owning her own brokerage business or leading the business operations for national real estate firms in multiple states, Green has built an enviable record of achievement that draws on her wide-ranging professional and personal experience.
Before forming Signature International Realty, Green served as chief operating officer for ERA Franchise Systems LLC in Parsippany, N.J., from 2006 to 2008. She also was senior vice president and chief administration officer for NRT LLC in Parsippany from 2004 to 2006 and chief executive officer of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate of Florida in Sarasota from 1997 to 2004.
During her tenure at Coldwell Banker, she was responsible for the firm’s operations both in Florida and Texas and orchestrated the acquisition of 28 companies, including Arvida Residential Real Estate Inc., one of the largest acquisitions in U.S. real estate history. Through her leadership, Green helped Coldwell Banker become the largest and most successful real estate company in Florida, with nearly 200 offices and 7,500 sales associates.
Green is a former director of the Mid Florida Regional MLS and was a Facility Task Force member for the Greater Orlando Association of Realtors. In 2004, Green also was named one of the 500 Most Powerful Women in Real Estate by Real Estate magazine.
Linda Bradway, Broker - Venice Office
Originally from Connecticut, Linda (Shearer) Bradway has roots in Venice extending back to 1946. She has been a licensed Broker in the State of Florida since 1976.
Linda opened Shearer and Polce Property Management and later, Horse and Chaise Rentals and Property Management, sold these companies, and eventually managing the three real estate offices of Bradway, Moore & Associates, owned by her husband, Richard Bradway. Their company was acquired by a national real estate company in 1996 at which time Linda then managed five offices in the Venice and Englewood market area. In 2004, she and her husband opened Richard Bradway & Associates, Inc., and in 2009, Richard Bradway & Associates merged with Signature Sotheby’s International Real Estate. Linda remained as Managing Broker.
She is involved in her community – twice past president of Women’s Sertoma, a Leadership Sarasota Alumni, active with the Venice Historical and Preservation Society, past president of the Women’s Board for the Foundation for Bon Secours Hospital, present member of the Women’s Board for the Foundation for Manatee Community College, active with the United Way’s Allocation committee, as well as active with the Venice Area Board of Realtors.
Jo-Anne Whalen, Director of Business Development
As Director of Business Development and Referrals, Jo-Anne Whalen, CRP, oversees all aspects of lead management for Signature Sotheby's International Realty.
Jo-Anne has a strong background in Relocation and Referral management and is an active member of the national organization, RDC, Relocation Director's Council as well as ERC, Employees Relocation Council. Her real estate career has spanned two decades.
In her roll of developing business between Sotheby's affiliates nationally and internationally, Jo-Anne leverages opportunities to deliver the highest level of customer experience to her clients, both the Sotheby's Sales Professional.
Toni Schemmel, Director of Marketing
As marketing director, Schemmel is responsible for overseeing the firm’s marketing efforts, which includes brand management, development of collateral materials, directing the creative content and placement of all advertising, maintaining vendor relationships, managing listing support and call center functions, and maintaining the marketing budget. She also acts as the marketing consultant for the sales associates and customers of Signature Sotheby’s International Realty.
Originally from Chicago, Schemmel and her family have lived in Sarasota for just over six years. Prior to joining Sotheby’s International Realty, she was a Realtor at Michael Saunders & Co. Before starting her real estate career, Schemmel worked for 12 years in Chicago and Europe. She started her career in Chicago as a financial analyst for Baker & McKenzie, the largest law firm in the US. She then went on to work for other companies including Godwins Booke & Dickenson – An Aon Company, where she was regional financial controller. By 1996 Schemmel was in Europe working as a controller in Sofia, Bulgaria for Sprint, the fortune 500 telecommunications company and in Prague, Czech Republic for KPMG, the International audit and consulting firm. While in Bulgaria, she also was recruited to the position of adjunct professor at the American University in Bulgaria.
Schemmel holds an MBA in marketing from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Bradley University (Peoria, Ill.) In addition to her real estate license, she holds an Illinois Certified Public Accounting Certificate.
